At least eight people were injured, and two teenagers were killed after a Multi-Vehicle Crash in Porter Ranch

According to NBC Los Angeles, a 16-year-old boy Magnus Joseph Robinson and a 14-year-old girl were killed in a multi-vehicle crash in Porter Ranch that left eight other people injured, authorities said today.

At least three vehicles were reported to have been involved in the multi-vehicle crash in Porter Ranch, including seven adults and three children, the LAFD said.

According to a watch commander at the LAPD’s Valley Traffic Division, paramedics rushed the 14-year-old girl to Dignity Health-Northridge Hospital Medical Center, where she later died.

The crash occurred at around 5:52 p.m. near 11001 N Reseda Blvd., according to LAFD.

Police say the driver of a 2007 black Honda CRV with four passengers crossed into oncoming traffic, collided with a black 2012 Toyota Venza and a black 2015 Volkswagen Jetta.

The Honda CRV driver was injured due to the collision and was transported to a hospital for medical treatment. He will be facing criminal charges upon being released from the hospital.

The Toyota Venza had an adult and two children aboard, and the Volkswagen had a 30-year-old woman aboard.

Nine people were transported to regional trauma centers, where six are in critical condition and three others in fair condition, LAFD said.

Authorities believe speed may have been a factor in the crash.
